Create a Folder

There are several places to create a folder:

  • Any page on the right-hand side, just below the sidebar is the Folders section
    • Select Create a Folder
    • You may prompted by a pop-up blocker so if you don't get a new window, review your header for a pop-up blocker notice
  • Select Pages & Files from top right-hand corner
    • New button on top, left-hand side of menu
    • Select Create a Folder from the drop-down
  • Select Pages & Files from top right-hand corner
    • Left-hand side menu of Folders
    • Select the add button

 

Put a Page in a Folder

  • Go to the page you would like to put in a folder
  • Click Put this page in a folder
  • Choose the folder you'd like to put the page in

 

Move a Page or File

There are two ways to move a page or file to a different folder.

  1. While viewing the page you want in a different folder
  • From the right-hand side menu
  • Click Put this page in a different folder
  • Choose a Folder from the drop down

    2.  Pages & Files Menu

  • Find the page/file you want moved
    • Select the folder the page/file is currently in
    • Click on any of the columns to sort by Name, Folder, Last Changed,
    • Search for the page/file from the search field
  • Check the box next to the page/file
  • Click the Move box
  • Select the folder you would like it moved into
  • Click Move

 

Rename a Folder

Only users given Administrator or Editor rights can perform this function

  • Pages/Files Menu
  • Select the folder you want to rename from the menu on the left side
  • Click Rename Folder button
  • Type new name of folder

 

Delete a Folder

Only users given Administrator or Editor rights can perform this function

  • Pages/Files Menu
  • Select the folder you want to delete from the menu on the left side
  • Click Delete Folder button

 

Folder Security

Only users given Administrator rights can perform this function

  • Pages/Files Menu
  • Select the folder you want to change security to from the menu on the left side
  • Click Folder Security button
  • Select the users you would like to give access to
  • Give each user the appropriate level of access from the drop down menu

 

Files in Folders & File Security

  • Pages/Files menu
  • Find the page/file you want moved
    • Select the folder the file is currently in
    • Click on any of the columns to sort by Name, Folder, Last Changed,
    • Search for the file from the search field
  • Check the box next to the file
  • Click the Move box
  • Select the folder you would like it moved into
  • Click Move
